Figment

By malevolencefixation

The aching in my heart encompasses my entire being
And I am absorbed by the need to touch you
To feel you
To love you
To dual with you
To...... Know you?

For so long you were my world
My best friend
My worst enemy

Now

You are nothing

We are nothing

I do not know who you are

Where you are

Where you’ve been

Are you my past?

A figment of my imagination?

When did we turn

From enemies

 To friends

To lovers

Back to friends

Then to enemies again

Do I still care?
Do I still love you?
I don’t think so

Maybe I just

Miss

You
