Love Lost

By Elizabeth kaczocha

An ultimatum made, a decision to make

Which will you choose, before it's too late

A choice made, unexpected the result

The lies come to light, and it's your fault

The love that we shared is no longer there

You won't let me leave, so at the window I stare

My tears do not move you, my sobs go unheard

I gave you a second chance, there won't be a third

As my heart cries out for someone to love

I kneel down and pray for help from above

Too many times I have had to bend

Now our time is at an end.
