Muse

By maliceman

It has been nearly six years
Since i sheathed this pad and pen,
And i never dreamed
I would don this persona again.

As they sometimes say,
All good things must come to an end.
I have rediscovered my muse,
I will vent in order to mend.

As the glass slowly transitions
from half-full to half-empty,
I begin to wonder if
The anger and pain ever really left me.

Now with the separation
of the Blade and the Chalice,
I have returned.
I AM MALICE.
