Give me life

By Half-Dead Agonist

It has become apparent,
That there is one,
Who would tear me away,
Give me life.

But I've not met her,
Though some have come close,
She slips past me,
And I'm lost, depressed.

And the one that I'm,
Looking so forward to seeing,
Is also the one whom I most despise.
It's a laughable irony.
