Passion and Desire

The burning passion and sinful desire
One keeps locked away in an
Otherwise blank and shadowy mind.
A key designed to unlock even the most
Treacherous thoughts
Is held by no one but you.
If any words come to your lips
On the matter of these thoughts,
It is best to keep silent to those whom you think you know.
All is not lost.
Cherish those you truly trust,
And one day, you can express the overwhelming
Passion and desire that was kept prisoner inside you
For so long.
The same cannot be said for me.
