Alone

By Bittersweet Life

Crystalline loneliness
Reflects my ruined soul
I cling to regrets
As penance for my sins
The cruellest memories
Glimmer gold in moonlight
Before blank pages
I unfold
Lifeless eyes
Veiled by blue
Tear-soaked cheeks
Drip in solitude
Expecting nothing
I pray for anything
The hum of silence
Haunts me
