Beauty and the Beast

By AnaMia92

My mouth is dry. My eyes are wet. Tears streaming down like sapphires as I reminisce on the love we once shared. I held you in my heart where no one else could play. You were my muse....my safe place..my home.....       I opened every part of my being to you. In hopes to be sheltered from the storm, only to be thrown in it.You let go when I needed you to hold on. Left me empty when all I wanted was to be full. You watched me crumble slowly into nothing without even a perturbed glance.......... At that moment the beast lost his beauty...... And the beauty lost her heart...... Crumbled into the ground just where he left it.........
