Alphabet Soup

By mikeygreenleaf

Envy would not find her rest
So on my shoulder did protest
And dug her nails into my arm
Shrill voice sounding off alarm
What ails you my dear jealousy?
So radiant with shades of green
You crave to know a plusher life!
Exempt of any common strife?
Tell me that it isn’t so, you’re
Leaving and you told me so?!
Make my day and let’s pretend
You’re not a lying cheating friend
And deft of any couth or grace
Twisted features on your face
Will leave me hanging once again
Tongue wrapped tightly under chin
