Boy Back From War

By BoyBackFromWar

Hello my friends.
Hello my brothers in arms.

The cracks on your
gravestones are getting
bigger as years go by.
People pass without
even a glance at you.

I can still hear the haunting cries
of your mothers, sisters, wives…

Every night I dream of a cold night.
The night in which you
were swallowed by a fiery thunder.
But in my dreams I am
going with you…
