Farewell Dance

By netherbound

See the black witch
Dancing in the midnight air
How the light flickers
Black witch just don’t care
She’s come to kill
She’s come to kill
Your will
To live
Just a flutter of cold dead shadows.

Now it’s time to go.
See the black witch
My dearest love so ill
Wait for her coming
Black witch laying you still
She's come to kill
She's come to kill
Your will
To live
Just a shudder in the dead cold night.

No time for good-byes.
She comes silently in the still of the night
Circling the fading light of your dim eyes
with a farewell dance.

Watching someone's health struggling and failing is hard to do. The "Black Witch" is the name of a moth in S. America with folklore of being the bringer of death. If only... still miss you dad.
