Silent Screams

By TwistedSoul

Tattered and torn she crawls on along the walls trying to find a way out. But there is none. Her fingers bleed where her nails once were before the concrete walls ripped them away as she frantically tried digging her way out. She could hear his voice mockingly laughing at her. Taunting her. Challenging her to try to escape. She wants to yell and scream but not even the smallest of sounds can form in her throat. She knows she is trapped in this hell but she still tries to find one small hope hidden in these walls. How else could he have trapped her if there is no way in?
Days turn into weeks. Weeks into months. She nearly has given up all hope until she finally found it. A loose stone. She prys it free and gets a glance of a sight long forgotten-the sun. The heated brightness warmed and blinded her but for that brief moment she just relished in enjoying what she hasn't been able to in so long before beginning to tear down the wall. She believed with all her heart and soul she was going to be free but as she jumped out of the hole she landed in a place even worse than those walls. Now she's lying on the ground with a spike straight through her heart. He sees her reaching out to him but turns away with a grin. Not saying a word. Never looking back even as she took her last breath feeling more alone than ever.
