If I were the Earth and you the moon

By WinglessFaith

You stir the oceans of my heart

In your presence I find I am off balance, tilting but stable

Pulling me into darkness, you quiet my soul

Dear moon, I see your scars

Ravaged by the rocks that travel our space

And still you find the courage to persist

Despite your craters you seek to calm the life within me
