The Wilted Flower

By Bound_In_Chains

The wilted flower, once intriguing and beautiful
Is now withered, tattered and torn
Once so full of life
Is now dried up, and forlorn
A flower so blissful and fragrant
A flower that caught the eye
Sad to see something precious and admired
Fall victim to the weight of the world and ultimately die
They tried to pick up the petals
As they fell to the dirty ground
And wept as they came to realize
There was no beauty left to be found
That poor innocent flower
Was sucked dry by the weight of the world
Who knew that the innocent flower
Represented the soul of a girl

Very, very good with this. I truly admire the bleak desperation. Truly.
