Vacation

By LiesWithin

Days I went without you
I missed everything about you

Your touch, your smell
It lingered in my mind
And as far as I can tell
I know you are mine

When I finally saw you
You ran to me
I showed you my love was true
I thought I could be happy

Memories fade
Feelings vanished
Replaced with hate
You got what you wanted

I lay alone now
My heart is empty
Trying to get over you, but how?
I'll just lay where you left me

I bought a gun today
I guess there's only one thing on my mind
My voice hollow, I got nothing left to say
Maybe I'll pull the trigger, end this time

Well, that's the end of my letter
This is my explanation
Just think I got better
Think I'm on vacation
