Malignancy

By katsmeow

A viscous darkness rises now and oozes 'cross the land
Obliterating all we know with dank and fetid hand
Adhering with tenacity to creatures large and small
And flowing along malignantly across each house and wall
I think the darkness is despair and spread by ill intent
For when we harm another soul, the Evil it must vent
And doing so just spreads the stain among the rest of us
While being victim to the dark can make us scream and cuss
Our only hope is deep within the safety of our heart
and bringing Love and light to all before thestain can start
