Chrysalis
By Flying indigo express
I
The faint dirge arose above the pain
Upon approach, dragging what remained
Taters of dreams come to an end
Stained portions substance back again
The song was so sweet like nymphs desire
Cradled into the hole, death and birth the same
Yet somehow this was the beginning of the insane
Elsewhere I could smell the pire
Once arrived never to be the same
The cenobite song always remains
In horror the pieces left were stripped away
A core they found, the thing to be blamed
II
Nothing left, nothing to say
If only I knew it would end this way
But how ignorant the voice proclaims
This is a creation to hideous to name
And so it began, a new understanding torture
All that was felt before seemed so inane
Pieces that once repulsed me forced back in
Morbid ugly shape of unspeakable sin
A new creation was underway
Veiled within the shell it distained
Alien new forms were implanted in
Unto what purpose did this extend
III
Finally the razors truth became clear
Everything inplanted back denial guilt fear
New forms did everything take
How funny the first forms now seemed fake
The shell final split and out into the light
The form crawled away with anger and fright
Ugly disgusting to see, the newborn thing
Emotions did as they always do
Heart pumping and trying to hide
It started another process deep from inside
The parts all took life of their own
Wings expanded, and the seat was a throne
Initiation whispered on the breeze
But the creation was laughing at a former disease
And suddenly beholding wings outspread
Left for the stars a nights child instead
