Walking in the moonlight
Just the other day
Illuminates the footfalls
then fades away

I was on my way to heaven
Then I lost my way

Walking up a hillside
Just the other day
Whats above me and below me
Looked exactly the same

I found a shard of heaven
Inside today

but it goes on
the endless song
this just plays on

I found my piece of heaven
Not at all what I thought
It meant trading everything
For nothing at all
