Tugging on my Heart Strings

By Bound_In_Chains

Tugging on my heart strings
My wounds are reopening
Tears sting my eyes
As I try to stifle my cries
Thought I was stronger than this
Yet I still reminisce
Of all the times good and bad
They've all left me very sad
Why do you have such an effect?
Yet again you resurrect
All the feelings I once had for you
What on Earth am I to do?

It's the hardest thing at times to completely let go especially with long histories. Experiences shape who we are today but you can only move forward by turning the page right? Thanks for pouring your heart out you're already that much closer to moving on.
