Ghostly Laments

By Flying indigo express

Time flows like a river,
But my heart makes dams

I know theyre all past this,
Yet here still I am

Time to let go, I'll let go if you say so
But not until then, and still....

Here I am

Flowers grow in the morning,
But I am still asleep

I know that I'm in mourning,
But I still hear you speak

Time to move on, to wake up with the dawn
I know I should let go, but still I hold on

I woke up that morning to the tolling of the bell
How long would I choose to be chained

In my personal hell

Where is the sunshine, clouds with a silver line
I think I'm starting to see, what it was you were telling me

When you passed

I went with you
