Forgive Me Not

Deeply saddened by the desire 
To extinguish this fire 
I no longer want to stay 
That's all I can say 
I know I don't belong
What I'm about to is very wrong
Hope and good judgment have almost completely parted
I have to finish what I started
A monster in the making 
This life I can justify taking 
Carrying the knife and the note 
I'm ready to jump off this boat~
