Losing Me

By WinglessFaith

These are from late summer early fall.

Give a lie that's easier to swallow
Something that could fill just a bit more of the hollow
I listen to her cries
Her word coded with lies
A monster in the making
She can stop the knife from shaking
Playing the victim in this tale
Clinging to the docks afraid to set sail~

All the control thought I had
I was only a little mad
I wanted to hurt
Now I need a long sleeve-shirt
Anger and fear combined
To both I was confined
I needed to pay
I again, had let my thoughts run astray
Now indifferent to the mark
I'm ready to be claimed by my dark~
