Cold Comfort...more notes from inside

By katsmeow

In sleepless night and endless day
In daydreams where I long to stay
I wander deep inside my mind
Seeking solace, I look to find
A memory to set me free
From this placeĀ  I don't want to be
A place so hard, a place so cold
A place to make you feel so old
No warming rays of pure suns light
No harvest moon in deepest night
I think of those that I love best
And lay my weary head to rest
And pray for dreams to quickly start
to ease my mind and soothe my heart
