Love to Kill

By katsmeow

A love can die in many ways, some violent, some not
Most of the time it fades away, neglected and forgot
We all say we would die for love, but that's just not the way
It dies for us, we kill it off, no matter what we say
Too often we neglect our love, we starve it til it's dead
But other loves get beat to death, in anger blood is shed
But love does not die easily, it's much too hard to kill
With just a few ill spoken words or spites too bitter pill
No matter what the causes are, or what we blame it on
We realize we need it still, and miss it when it's gone
