This Will Haunt You

By MorganMoonlight

She whispers in a Russian tounge and I can barely breathe
From every sour I encounter that she turns to sweet
We only met yesterday, but she's already in my veins
I cry myself to sleep as I see that she's here to stay

They all say we're so wrong for each other
(Non confundar)
I could never ask for a worse lover
(In aeternum)
I'll keep running, but I just can't hide
(This will haunt you)
I'm begging, save this shattered life

I wake up to lunacy crestfallen from leacherous wings
She's gone for now, but who's the stranger laying next to me?
I don't think I've got much longer until I'm a goner
Just lay some orchids on my chest and pretend that you'll act somber

More guilty than a mortal could know
More addicted than pierced by Cupid's arrow
I die every night just for one last kiss
The guilty pleasure I just can't resist

Lying awake from screams of the past, I heard a remnant amidst velvet shadows. Frames of stillborn moments recapture betrayal, passion, and pain. As the months turned to years, we drew closer to the flame, with every line drawn with a razorblade. Today it was the white lady mixed with whatever vodka I could drown my throat with. Did the pills go down? I'll soon find out.
I remember a whisper.
And then,
a fire
Dreaming dreams no one ever dared to dream, and then I died. But just like any junkie worth his salt, I was brought back to life.
Praise Christ!

They all say we're so wrong for each other
(Non confundar)
I could never ask for a worse lover
(In aeternum)
I'll keep running, but I just can't hide
(This will haunt you)
I'm begging, save this shattered life
