All Nails Go Red

By MorganMoonlight

A moth transcends the flame and I fall into the frost
Of a gaze the night divides as angels sing a slowly dying song
My fingers greet the strings as love weeps 'Capricho Arabe'
The diamonds in her eyes shower down like such valiant rain

I've killed to see you walk away
And fell from grace just to hear you say

Darling, my nails go red with our lustful decadence
All you have to do is smile and I'll play dead
The poet's heart ensnares the Winter of your smoldered elegance
Like a kiss divine; our every cry, as
all nails go red

Church bells chorus the cut up corpse of Cupid; tender and frail
Blood still warm, dripping seeds of flowers of evil
The storm paints our last embrace on an envious canvas
As I writhe in the nightside of our last caress

I'm not in love with the ballet of your heart
The black swans soaring wihin are tearing me apart
I'm not in love with your ghost; so gentle and sweet
Diaphonous it was, drowned in a sea of memories

Darling, my nails go red with our lustful decadence
All you have to do is smile and I'll play dead
The poet's heart ensnares the Winter of your smoldered elegance
Like a kiss divine; our every cry, as
all nails go red

I open my eyes to a moment of repose
From guilty pleasures no one has ever known
Vanguards of dusk draw me back to your smile
And in that perdition I writhe so tenderly awhile

As all nails go red you paint my home
Of broken hearts and smoldered dreams long gone
All you have to do is smile and I'll play dead
Like Prometheus I'll rise to be torn wide open again

As all nails go red
Oh, my love

Crimson
with our
love

All lips go blue? What does that mean? And thank you for the compliments. I greatly appreciate it. :)

Uh oh, I'd hate to sound like someone else. Haunting is always good; one of the things that I strive for. But one of my biggest fears is to lose my originality.

Thank you. Without readers such as yourself, I wouldn't enjoy writing nearly as much. Check out my other works if it compels you. :)
