Save Yourself From Me

By MorganMoonlight

Your hourglass runs dry from the thirst within my heart
Your blood tastes like service wine, and it's tearing me apart
The venom from your lips addicted me with our first kiss
Withdrawal consumes, darling run; lest you draw your final breath

You bring out the worst in me
(Summoning the madman within)
You bring out the devil in me
(You bring out the animal within)
You bring out the worst in me...

Why couldn't you obey when I warned you to stay away?
You saw a light somewhere inside, but the pain I bring I can't replace
Does your desire of the red blind you from the thorn's reality?
All who search for pleasure in me will feel only pain

With just one moonlit touch, your words send shivers down my spine
Calling out to curse the grave of our love's suicide
My darling, how can I say all the things you do to me?
But the hold you had was never yours...
please run before it's too late...

Before it's too late
(You bring out the animal within)
Before it's too late
(Every smile hides a scarlet sin)
Before it's too late...

Why couldn't you obey when I warned you to stay away?
You saw a light somewhere inside, but the pain I bring I can't replace
Does your desire of the red blind you from the thorn's reality?
All who search for pleasure in me will feel only pain

The only salvation you'll find in me
Is a death with no escape
The only salvation you'll find in me
Is a fatal crimson embrace

Save yourself from me
(You'll find only pain)

Should you stay, only darkness will remain
Before it's too late

I beg

Save yourself
