A Scarlet Carson

By MorganMoonlight

Time; I will wrap her withered bones in snow white verity
All of the love letters are scattered like ashes into the sea
And now, the verdant vespertine dreams of yesterday
Like ice cold whispers in my ear so long to enslave

Your sins sing to me
As I vy against virulence
Your sins sing to me
Ever drawn to your scarlet
And I will never know you as daylight divides
It's breaking my heart, why must it save my life?

Life
and its treacherous wings
Glide such vehement throes
On her pale skin desire soothes in
But what if we won't let me repent?
I seal remembrances thousand times into my skin
As your hallowed whispers banshee all over again

Can you defend the scarlet carson I see in you?
Surrounded by thorns, in you I see myself too
Obsession objects to a temperance request
Shatter the mirror
I just don't
know who
I am

Great visuals in this piece, especially in the first stanza. Beautifully haunting.
