Sins Like Summer

By MorganMoonlight

Walking in December, your words pur velvet rings
Hide in day, there you stay; this damning divide embraced
Do you hear the bells, darling?
They chime for you
I in dark
You in day
And there we stay

Like water and blood
I'll pierce your love
In wicked Winters, press your lips to the dark
Lest I scorch in your sun
Lest you die alone
In scarlet Summers I'll press my lips to your wounds
Forevermore

She's the one behind the frozen curtain
Looming in nightmares, and I'm a moth to the flame
She's the myth of modern man, a paradox I lovingly resent
I in dark
Her in day
And there we stay

Like water and blood
I'll pierce your love
In wicked Winters, I'll press my lips to the sun
You wanted more
Let's see some blood
In scarlet Summers, your lips caress my wounds
Forevermore

Forevermore

This reads like heartache, the beautiful agony kind, somewhere in another place and time. Worthy of a ~sigh~. I look forward to reading more. :)

Thank you very much. I have a lot of older works I'd like to post on here. Just a matter of time. I need to post the newer ones as well. Ugh. But I'm glad you like it.
