Scarlet and Gold

By MorganMoonlight

I absconded in dark, and I lost you at dawn
The dusk; so resplendent, silencing dreams long gone
And every night, still I chase what we used to be
For fear of tragedies lost amongst the ink on my sleeve

In wicked and silence
With wicker and love
The somber flames rise
To glorious heaven above

In your eyes is me
And you're such a darling disaster
In your eyes is me
Confession booth flooding from crimson release
A virulent dream dons its wings, ascends the vanguard of night
And I'll chsse repentence
(In your eyes is me)
You're a darling disaster

Everything
is so cold
Like ocean blue flames searing through
anticipation's cadaverous womb
Now I
I must bury this hope
I must escape this scarlet and gold
That I'd once known
That I called home

In your eyes is me
And you're such a darling disaster
In your eyes is me
Confession booth flooding from crimson release
A virulent dream dons its wongs, ascends the vanguard of night
And I'll chsse repentence
(In your eyes is me)
You're a darling disaster

Your red is cold
How far will I take this?
Your red is cold
Why is your poison radiant?
Your red is cold
I don't know where I'll go

Why must your sins
Sing to me
my darling disaster?

In your eyes is me
And you're such a darling disaster
In your eyes is me
Confession booth flooding from crimson release
A virulent dream dons its wongs, ascends the vanguard of night
And I'll chsse repentence
(In your eyes is me)
You're a darling disaster

Is as if you hate to love her, and oh, how do we all understand it. There's an esthetic here almost musical.
