Days Forgotten

By WinglessFaith

Bloody was the roseĀ
left by her toes
Once an image of beauty to be
Beauty none would get to see
Her hair whitened from the dust
She was stiffened with disgust
Days had gone by
None searched, none cried
Hidding was her habit
With humanity she had, had it
A prisoner to silence
She jumped out of defiance
Roses at her feet they placed
For their neglect could not be faced
She was buried with no name
But they could not burry their shame
