lifeless brook

Dam the dark 
that seeks cover under the bridge
It's shadow claims all that flows
Beneath it and conceals it's sin

Show me the river
In all the constant movement
is the life you see

Under the aged stone
Is death I know

Furthering my agony 
the river loops
Returning the shadow of the bridge
Nolonger will you inspire me
To a fresh look
Mashed against the rocks are my dreams
All of me it took
This is a lifeless brook
