Casting shadows

I'm sitting alone
casting shadows on the wall
every time I try to rise
I fall
looking at the sky
the stars seem closer than you
I'm drifting so far
away from everthing I knew
Inside my mind i'm running
I start to unravel
you will never find me
in the dark spaces that I travel
touch me
I am freezing
my body is here
but my soul is leaving
there is no connection
my world seems so small
alone in the dark
casting shadows on the wall
