A pawn and his mindset

By Shadow lost to the light

Am I allowed to come up with my own definition for insanity?
When they don't even accept me as part of humanity.
I'm just trying to warn the people of an on coming calamity.
To gear up and get ready to fight for their family.
It's like this government is starting to question my ability.
To wake up and take a stand against this pipe dream conformity.
To throw out a tool of the people that's obviously broken and no longer a use to me.
Because an eye for an eye is the only way this world will see.
And it's this ironic gesture that's going to set our society free.
With the sound of roaring crowds and  politicians' plea.
We will finally become the nation we were always meant to be.
But how will this come about if its to those old views that you cling.
And how can we save the world if everyone is too worried about their bling.
You think I'm being harsh, but you know the truth is one thing that should sting.
And sorry but pain killers for the soul will never be a thing.
So step up to the plate and let's put this thing in full swing.
And create a country that's worthy of a king.
And  a song that's worthy enough to sing.
And a love that's worthy enough for a ring.
So that we know that our time with anything but true freedom was only just a fling.
