Always Screaming

By MirrorEye

I'm screaming, always screaming
To the dark, but no one hears me.
Save my soul, please do not fear me.
But no one's there, no one can hear me.

So here I am, lost in the dark.
Like a small child, lost in a park.
Always waiting for a savior
To deter me from twisted behavior.

It's not working, no one cares.
So hide your family, say your prayers.
I'll become your twisted monster
You will ridicule me no longer.

Im tearing off the shackles and chains
I'm giving in to this feeling of rage.
You hurt me, abused me, but now it's all done.
I'll hunt you down, know that your time has come.

You'll beg and you'll plead.
You'll get down on your knees.
But your life is now forfeit
As you deemed mine not worth it.

I'll leave you screaming, always screaming
In the dark, with your heart bleeding.
You will finally know reason to fear me,
And the darkness that now conceals me.

What a passionate piece. This is immaculate work. I felt this to my very bones. Relative and close to home. Intransigent artistry. :)
