Falling into Fascination.

By Lil Demon Lady

I've fallen into fascination again,
Not love,
Fascination,
A mind that intrigues me,
A story to be told,
And my ears itch to hear it,
In and out of this I fall,
 Moving from mind to mind,
Searching their stories,
Though I know not for what,
I cannot stop it,
Nor am I sure I want to try,
The fascinations that comes,
Then die,
Are a slice of life, I get to try.

  • A former member wrote: The most ancient meaning of fascination, according to the Satanic Bible, is to be able to hold ones attention, make someone lay his eyes on something for a prolonged period of time to ones desire... i did see a similar meaning of the word appear across your poem, which made me thoroughly like it...yes, fascination and love are two completely different things and never to be confused...ever

I used to confuse the two, but I've learned the difference, falling into fascination is...good I think...sometimes I wonder, but *shrugs* No harm has come to me or the ones I become fascinated with.
