Fake another smile
To the man in the mirror
To try and understand
What is true horror
The rest of the world sees
a mask that i wear
for i cover up
what is truly there
If you knew what await inside
If you saw what truths i lied
You can only see what i reveal
Maybe if i say it more.....it'll become real
I'm normal....I'm sane
There's nothing wrong with my brain
I like everyone.....I'm not filled with hate
I truly won't want the world to wait
I'm normal.....not insane
My soul isn't left in the rain
I have peace.....

The final stanza sounds thrilling. I imagined a man sitting in his room in convulsion, desperately declaring to himself that there is nothing wrong with him. And behind every sentence in that final stanza i could sense a hidden "...right!?" Lingering about. Then back to the first stanza, these declarations are also made, but....more subtle. I like it. Its as if it builds up, just like the feelings of despair...
