Damned

As darkness descends,
She hears the screams, 
And she begs for someone to cover her, 
To drown out the sounds, 
That she knows are in her mind, 
The begging, 
The pleading, 
The sounds of pain, 
She shuts her eyes and prays, 
That she'll be granted reprieve, 
Knowing, 
That there is none, 
Not for her, 
because she'd do it all again, 
She wants nothing more then to live, 
And she's been damned for it...
