Deprivation

By Anne Sweet

I feel the world
Balnk and empty,
Devoid,
An empty shell of
Vast Construction
And death all around.
Vacant of emotion,
Empty,
Nothingness.
The world a shell
Of it's former
Existence.
Destitute of feeling...
Mindless beings
Wandering,
Motionless in their
Hearts.

What a beautiful unpropitious desolation of existence you have painted upon this canvas with your dark pen! And I must say I agree with your analysis of our world. I like the words you chose here and the meanings they deliver as you have them penned in this piece. Welcome to DP...
