Life's journey

Life's journey

We speed from the darkened tunnel
The tracks shine bright in the light
It shoots over chasms and hills
And sinks low into the night
We pause at the sorrow stations
We race past the valley of tears
Where our hearts were full and brave
Now filled with repining and fears
But the road of this perilous journey
The hand of the master has made
With all its vexation and dangers
We are always sad and afraid
The burning red pit ever waiting
For all those who trod the wrong path
Running, shouting, and mayhem
We face the horns in the hearth
The life that we lead is now futile
Disappearing into a black haze
Back into the same darkened tunnel
'Tis time to depart from life’s maze

very lovely usage of imagery-the first stanza reallycaught my attention http://www.economist.com/node/17722567 found this article interesting, just goes to show many of our common perceptions are taken for a loop when surprises come in our lives, maybe things will look up for you, hold on and take care of yourself
