The Distance In Me

By The Black Lark

Perplexing visions all show me the path.

Which road to take, do you know which one is fake?

Split your mind in two, one has the truth for you.

And as the gap becomes clear, I know the end is near.

It looks like our terrible world is revealing itself.

Fathom the greatness of the man in the deep.

An abyssmal collapse, atlas revealed.

Reality struck me, it washed me away.

It washed me away.

It washed...

And I broke apart from myself making my nightmare a real living thing.

... me away.

I’ve been given the world on a silver plate.

I’ll swallow it whole and I’ll take the bait.

Succumb to fiction turned facts for you.

Don’t you see? I thought nobody cared for me.

Well insanity cares, I set my journey aside.

Forever, I’ll stretch this fucking distance in me.

An abyssmal collapse, atlas revealed.

Reality struck me, it washed me away.

An abyssmal collapse, atlas revealed.

Reality struck me, it washed me away.

I see god’s true reality.

I see the stretching of the distance in me.

The distance in me.

The distance in me.

These lyrics are thought provoking, spurned from an event that shook the foundations of reality as you once knew it, like a hundred eyes staring in different directions which all turn and focus on one single realization. Hail.
