A Philosopher Once Said
By Manperson96
Wired tight to motionless, stuck in blinding light.
Didn't you hear what the old philosopher once said?
Why are we burning alive in a bright night?
Was he not the one who said we'd only worry about producing bread?
The nuclear reactor was the key factor to cause this catastrophe.
The meltdown in which only said, "No forgiven thee."
I would acclaim that this is strange
Every species wiped away
All abundant, now just a scrape
The philosopher said, "All will be punished for their wrong doings and
the mistakes their ancestors made."
Such a fool; i was to disregard and not heed what would affect Life in
every possible way
To see one die, let alone is such a horrid sight
But one like this is nowhere near right
In peace, at ease, even a gun shot wound would be assuring
Why out of all possible ways, how we suffer is pressuring
We lay on the ground, staring at an alien-barren sky
Choking and coughing and trying to grasps air
What he said, i know now wasn't a lie
Suffocating as if this is the only way to be fair
Eyes burning and combusting to release energy
The fate we faced, was the only inner key
Faces smashed and dissolving as we speak
We're laying around like dead fish inside an abyss
As the radioactive substance from our rib cages leaked
Why does not our pain satisfy thee?
This philosopher once said that the treasures of life would be given to
all
What kind of treasure is worth seeing yourself baked alive?
Arms are crippling
Legs decomposing
Bones are deflating
Losing sanity
Did he mention anything about what we see?
What are we suppose to do when we're in need?
Why suffer due to flaws inside the mechanical feed?
What we have to accept is that it gave, and we received
After the smoke has cleared
Showing nothing but fear
There is where he stood
Covered in his dark hood
Glaring with a smirk, exposing his razor shard teeth
Griping his scythe with "666" painted on his forehead
"The day when the Grim Reaper will be devastating to all life and the lost
will be drastic. Nothing less," is what a Philosopher once said

Interesting content. Not bad at all, actually.

Many good questions here. I think most of us can appreciate the glaring condemnation we've brought upon ourselves and how the end may play out. You philosophise yourself, sir. A tale worth telling.
