Heroes of Night

By MirrorEye

Silence the light, once holy and mighty.
Tear down the spirit, who gaurds your soul nightly.
Sacrifice the Messiah, the earth bound son.
The reign of the darkness has just yet begun.

Sing of wretched, the un-worthy, the damned.
Raise your voice proudly, with glass raised in hand.
We remember your stories, we scream them aloud.
We want you to know, that we're all very proud.

You rose up against the conformist believers.
Rebeled against the laws set down by their leaders.
You swore to avenge all those who were martyrrs.
Never giving in to their bribes or their barters.

And so we remember those heroes, so bold.
The heroes who'se stories are no longer told.
We stand and salute you, o' legends of Night,
And we'll gladly continue the never ending fight!
