darkest night

By matteus

the darkness has fallen
the darkest hour of the blackest night has approached
no light can break through this raven black spirit of mine
into the dark abyss i fall
falling with the darkness
the storm clouds bring pain and sorrow the crows singing their songs of woe.
all that i know is my inner pain.
black,
tainted
by this hellish world that i created
just a shadow with a name. all the beasts from beneath cannot put me to sleep
i am gods lonely man
im dying
im dead.
im living
i created this world of black in which i live
i walk alone through this black valley of what is true to the physical plain
i have fallen with the darkness
bleak and shunned
my spirit cannot be exposed to the sun
im cloaked with all my sorrow
im all on my own. the dark has fallen and so will i continuing this
journey with no destination.
the patter of rain fills the air
the only sound which can be heard
