Alone in a desert

By aNaRcHyPoEt

She cries as she watches the sun melt away,
And the sand dances across the desert,
Reminding her the life she lives everyday,
Completely replaceable, life filled with hurt.
Possessing an outward beauty, but oh so dark,
Constantly feels like a childs first paper cut,
As the blood flows to the surface and creates a spark,
Regretting that paper, but desiring it again somewhat.
And she cries as she stuffs her self into a blender,
Loves to feel the pain, the relief that all will be okay,
Poisonous but beautiful, another budding oleander,
All will be better, As long as tomorrow isn’t a new day.
And she cries as she watches the sun melt away
Reminding her the life she lives everyday.
