An Elegy.

By Tartis Flammis

Warmth when I saw you,
Resonating from your heart,
Compulsion of your beats
And resonance of your aura.

Too soon has been your count,
Deciphering of arcane signs had been late,
The passing of your soul..
Prognosticated by fate.

No reason to have stopped time,
Sunlight has turned to gray,
And icicles of my tears
Shatter into existence.

I wish I had gotten to know the better of you,
But...time in essence did not permit,
Just an autumn that faded into winter,
Gone as soon as a second's split.

Your spirit wil morph,
But the shape before unforgettable,
For it has been forged in our memory,
Your death and..remnant legacy.

The laceration in my heart may heal,
Rememberence preceeds each time I touch upon its scars.
