Cursed Beast of the Night

By Smittyetrnty

 Full moon’s light

touches skin.

An agonizing wail,

flesh rips, reveals.

Fur erupts

claws, fangs.

Cursed beast of the night

emerges.

Strength unequal

vicious, savage.

Appetite unmatched

rapacious, voracious.

A howl to the sky,

a call to the pack.

Night

belongs to the hunter.
