The Slow Wait

By InTheWorldOfAme

Sway.

Graceful ballerina with your salmon colored pointe shoes.

I want to watch you spin like the earth is on fire. You’re spinning to keep it fighting.

Forget the rest of us little people. You’re a star. You’re perfection.

Sway. Swoop your arm down for kisses and sweep the clean glassy ground with you hand. Lift it like you’re pulling a sapling up to make it grow into a strong tree.

Jump, jump like you’re a blue jay coming out of your nest. Fly like you’ve never done so before.

Ballerina you’re the creator, giving life with every move, every turn.

So spin like the earth’s on fire and you’re spinning to keep it ablaze.

Passion.

         Exact.

                        Ballerina, you are life.
