Chalice of Life

By prodigy789

Like an ever flowing goblet of knowledge and virtue

I swallow every sip I sip with a sense of want and contentment

As if the liquid on my tongue is sustenance

Yet I understand the grave finality of each and every dropĀ

My stomach swells with an almost divine sensation

Lifting me, judging me, weighing me, granting me

The will to pursue and understand a drop of essence

Sipped from the Chalice of Life
