Depression

By Crimson Queen

Cunning
Coy
 Barbaric
A hunter of emotions
she searches with such fervor
depression snakes around
enveloping those who cloak
for relief her nails of razor
greets you with acid of fragrance

She terrors the Grim Reaper
From whence he comes

Snatching thought after thought
bagging them in a firey ravage sack
the mighty slayings she is marbled
hearted leaving not one soul release
is not nigh

Depression steals lives placing
them in her collection a master of
disguises her caress is cold and crisp
now bounded under her spell we are
puppets she is the marionette of your
thoughts we are all here for her
amusement you just crumble under
the pressure she has dealt the mighty
acid of her fragrance

I know what you mean. Writing is a great way of venting. I can write my best when I am NOT happy believe it or not. Crimson Queen

I know what you mean. Writing is the best way of venting. Putting all the screams into poetry is calming to a point. I agree with you. Crimson Queen
