What I See

By prodigy789

Blinding and shimmering
your eyes like flawless diamonds twinkling in sunlight
with every cloud that passes
the splendor of your diamonds fade ever so slightly
only to return
when the suns full valor casts its radiance over the world once again
giving shine to such gems such as yours
for others to lose themselves within

poised and beautiful
your lips as smooth and red as the softest of rose petals
like a flower in the breeze
swaying and begging for attention from a passer by
only to be picked
and nuzzled up face to face just to feel the softest of petals
giving rise to feelings of love that you give
for the lucky one whose embrace is yours

dark and flowing
your hair like a raven in the night soaring in a moonlit sky
drifting with the breeze
with every motion as important and noticeable as the previous
only to grow tired
and land upon the home of a lonely lucky heart
in the rising of the sun and still as black as night
seen by the lonesome one that considers you beautiful
